Occupy Evansville: Put it on the map

"Occupy Evansville protesters are following the lead of similar movements all over the country by setting up camp. Protesters have built a "tent city" in a Downtown Evansville park tonight despite the chance of criminal consequences.

OccupyOakland Protesters Struck Intentionally by Car, Cops Let Driver Go Free

"November 2, 2011 – 11:30 pm Pacific

Two #occupiers were hit by a car tonight in downtown Oakland – one was dragged 30 feet and sustained an “obviously” broken leg, photos of the other victim are below.... Every single person at the scene was stunned that the driver could get away without being arrested."

Stand or Fall

They say if you don’t stand for something – you will fall for anything.  This is a story about people who stand and people who fall.

 

A couple of nights ago, a guy stood against the Money Power in Oakland.  He was a Marine Veteran, and like every Veteran, he stood and took an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States when he joined.  He kept his oath.  Waging war was hard:  waging peace is harder.  We thank him for standing with us.
