Three Occupy San Antonio members were arrested Monday morning after refusing to leave their post at an adobe building near the Tower of the Americas at HemisFair Park.

San Antonio Park Police at 7:45 p.m. told about a dozen occupiers in and around the adobe building they had 15 minutes to move their things off the property, Commander Steven Baum said.

Officers waited and gave them about a 10 minute grace period before approaching to remove the piles of belongings that remained.

Some occupiers moved their things and stepped away to a distance, except for Robin Canter, 42, a medic for Occupy S.A. since they started Oct. 6, and Kris Wettstin, 26, who arrived the night before.

They were arrested for camping and disobeying police officers, Baum said.
