The first thing the encampment published:

Good Neighbor Policy for the Encampment

In the spirit of building an empowered community, individuals are encouraged to uphold accountability to these consented upon principles.
  • Occupy Boise has zero tolerance for drugs and alcohol anywhere in our encampment.  Smoking tobacco is an exception.  Smokers, please be mindful and respectfully ask your neighbors before lighting cigarettes.
  • Occupy Boise has zero tolerance for violence or verbal abuse towards anyone.
  • Occupy Boise has zero tolerance for abuse of personal or public property, including the Veteran’s Memorial, which we will ensure remains open and accessible to the public at all times.
  • Occupy Boise will observe quiet hours in accordance with neighborhood policies.
  • Occupy Boise encourages all participants to respect the health and sanitary regulations, and will direct all participants to respectfully utilize appropriate sanitary facilities.

So, I guess I'll just go ahead and vote myself off this island now since the only thing I have zero tolerance for is the way the 1% run the world. (War for profit, nationalized usury, things like that.) I will try to keep an eye on the local effort and hope someone can reach this group before they "zero tolerate" themselves right out of any support.

To those of you who are truly ready to love all these imperfect people you share the earth with, who can love poeple even when you don't like them at all, who understand this IS our hour and we really need to do this right - THANK YOU.

Idaho is exceptionally polarized, but there are good people here. It will come together, I just have to live by MY standards, and that does not include reinforcing a failed "War on drugs" type policy in any way, nor in asking the 99% to get together and vote on which among them are not tolerable.

I like the attitude, girl.  "We must all hang together, or we will most certainly all hang separately".
